How is this different from regular ground coffee?
It starts with a carefully selected multi-origin Arabica blend, then adds Lion's Mane and Chaga for a smoother, more rounded cup with less bitterness.
Does it taste like mushrooms?
No. The mushroom extracts stay in the background — the flavor is coffee-forward with dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and a clean finish.
How much caffeine is in each cup?
Caffeine content is comparable to a standard cup of brewed coffee, depending on your brewing method and serving size.
How many cups per bag?
About 34 cups from each 12 oz bag at 1 tbsp per serving.
Is it tested for contaminants?
Yes. Our roasted coffee base is independently tested for heavy metals, mycotoxins, mold, and yeast before mushrooms are added. We are working to obtain finished-product and mushroom extract COAs and will publish them on our Lab Reports page when available.
What's the difference between the ground and instant?
The ground is a multi-origin Brazilian and Colombian Arabica blend — fuller body, dark chocolate notes, brewed like regular coffee. The instant is single-origin Papua New Guinea Arabica — lighter body, toasted almond and toffee notes, just add hot water. Same mushrooms in both.
