Ground Mushroom Coffee with Lion's Mane and Chaga

A smooth, full-bodied medium roast that brews exactly like the coffee you already make. Our ground mushroom coffee blends Brazilian and Colombian Arabica (five varietals across three named growing regions) with Lion's Mane and Chaga mushrooms milled fine enough to brew with the grounds. Dark chocolate, toasted nuts, a clean finish, and a cup that stays coffee first.

Why Mariko Grove?

  • Five Arabica varietals: Brazilian Catuai and Mundo Novo for body and chocolate depth, Colombian Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo for clean brightness
  • Sourced from Cerrado (Brazil) and Huila and Cauca cooperatives (Colombia), grown at 900-1,800 MASL; Brazilian lots pulped natural for richness, Colombian lots fully washed for balance
  • Coffee-forward blend: 90% coffee, 5% Lion's Mane, 5% Chaga by weight, at published per-serving amounts
  • Lion's Mane and Chaga from both mycelium and fruiting body; no sweeteners, no fillers, no flavorings
  • Roasted coffee base third-party tested for heavy metals, mycotoxins, mold, and yeast; finished-product testing in progress

What Makes This Ground Blend Different

Plenty of mushroom coffee is built powder-first, coffee second. Ours is a specialty-grade coffee blend that happens to carry two mushrooms. Because the ratio stays 90% coffee by weight, it behaves like regular ground coffee in every brewer, and caffeine is comparable to a standard cup of coffee, varying by brewing method. The medium roast also keeps acidity gentle; we cover the details in our post on whether mushroom coffee is less acidic than regular coffee.

Ground or Instant?

Same two mushrooms, different coffee experience. Choose ground for the fullest flavor and your own brewing ritual; choose instant mushroom coffee for a cup in seconds with no equipment. Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from regular ground coffee?

It starts as a specialty-grade blend of Brazilian and Colombian Arabica, then adds Lion's Mane and Chaga mushroom extracts at 5% each by weight. It brews, pours, and drinks like regular ground coffee, with a smoother, more rounded cup and low bitterness.

Does it taste like mushrooms?

No. The mushroom extracts stay in the background: the flavor is coffee-forward with dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and a clean finish. Read our honest breakdown of whether mushroom coffee tastes like mushrooms.

How much caffeine is in ground mushroom coffee?

Caffeine is comparable to a standard cup of coffee and varies by brewing method. Our blend is 90% coffee by weight, so it drinks like the coffee you already know.

How much Lion's Mane and Chaga is in each serving?

Each 1 tbsp (10 g) serving contains 500 mg of Lion's Mane and 500 mg of Chaga, from both mycelium and fruiting body. The blend is 90% coffee, 5% Lion's Mane, 5% Chaga by weight.

How do I brew it, and how many cups per bag?

Use 1 tbsp per 6-8 oz of water in any method you already use: drip, pour-over, French press, AeroPress, espresso, or cold brew. A 12 oz bag makes about 34 cups. See our Brewing Guide for method-specific tips.

Is it tested for contaminants?

Yes. Our roasted coffee base is independently tested for heavy metals, mycotoxins, mold, and yeast before the mushrooms are added. We are working to obtain finished-product and mushroom extract COAs and will publish them on our Lab Reports page when available.

Should I choose ground or instant?

Ground is a Brazilian and Colombian Arabica blend: fuller body, dark chocolate notes, brewed like regular coffee. Instant is single-origin Papua New Guinea Arabica: lighter body, ready in seconds. Same mushrooms in both. Our ground vs instant guide helps you decide.
